Ms Leela Rani Alla is a second generation entrepreneur, who is presently serving as the Director of Lee Pharma Ltd, a US FDA and EU GMP approved pharmaceutical company with its presence in the manufacturing of APIs, semi-finished dosage forms and finished formulations with four manufacturing facilities across the States of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. She is also spearheading the activities of Lee Health domain, a company involved in the research and development of formulations with potent phytonutrients, nutraceuticals and bioactive compounds.

She is a post graduate in biological sciences from the prestigious Birla Institute of Technological Sciences (BITS) Pilani.

She is the Chairperson of Women Entrepreneurship wing of AP chambers, where the team under her leadership has a vision for creating empowerment in women. The women entrepreneurship wing has been actively collaborating with women led farmer producer organisations and providing them support by establishing networking opportunities to market their produce, which is naturally processed.

The committee envisions to assist budding women entrepreneurs and building a strong support system and promoting physical and emotional health for working women and establish skill development programs for students and women to enhance a smooth transition to the industry.

Being an passionate environmentalist, she is working with JCI India as the Vice President Impact 2030 for JCI Vizag steel city spearheading a national level project e-green era, for safe segregation and disposal of e-waste by providing awareness sessions for children and local citizens and leading the initiative of setting up of e-waste disposal bins in schools and local communities.

She is also an active member of project green kitchen where waste management programs like composting are conducted for women and children. Interactive environment webinars and sessions are conducted by her for children to meet the UNSDG goals.
