Dr PP Lal Krishna is the CEO and MD of Ramky Pharma City (India) Ltd which is a Special Purpose Vehicle launched by Ramky Group and Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation Ltd (APIIC), a government enterprise with equity participation for providing infrastructure through development of industrial areas. The total extent of the Pharma city is spread over 2,400 acres with an assortment of facilities required for the pharma Industry. Dr PP Lal Krishna has brought many international companies to the Pharma city, which gives an international exposure to Visakhapatnam.

To his credit, he has developed various new processes for the bulk pharma industry such as zero discharge of liquid trade effluents; membrane bio reactor; pharmaceutical waste to useful manure; biogas generation from pulp and paper industry.

He holds a doctorate degree in Chemistry from University of Madras. He has over 35 years of experience in various process industries like bulk drugs, pharmaceuticals, distilleries, pulp & paper, environmental consultancy, among others. He is a certified assessor for business excellency and environmental excellency.

He has presented several technical papers in international and national seminars/conferences and is associated with the consultancy services in environmental management system (EMS) as an expert in trouble shooting and development activities.
