Mabbu Bala Krishna Reddy with his immense experience across spheres is a name to reckon with in the hotel and hospitality industry. Armed with a BE in Industrial and Production, Krishna Reddy has enjoyed successful forays in diverse fields, including in hotels, fuel stations, solar power and cinema halls besides earning a name for his dedicated efforts as a Rotarian and as a member of Chinmaya Mission, whose Youth Wing he served as President for six fruitful years (2006 to 2012). Each of his achievements exemplifies his uncompromising quest for heralding societal equality. Winner of innumerable awards, including national ones, for his stellar role in the onward march of the hotel industry in Andhra Pradesh, Krishna Reddy has accomplished impressive results as the backbone of several state-level representative organizations.

Today as the President of Andhra Pradesh Hotels’ Association, he is guiding the member-hotels to bounce back to normalcy after the tragic losses suffered during the Covid-19 lockdown.

His affable nature and futuristic mindset has seen him serve with aplomb various state and national hotel Associations, including as executive committee member of South India Hotels and Restaurants Association (SIHRA) from 2014-2018; vice-president for their Andhra Pradesh and Telangana chapter from September 1, 2018 onwards and as an executive committee member of the Federation of Hotels & Restaurants Association of India (FHRAI) in 2018. He won all-round appreciation for the manner he shouldered the responsibilities and the way he helped the members to improve their business portfolio by suggesting strategic changes.

Endowed with a philanthropic streak, Krishna Reddy has represented several welfare forums, including as the youth wing president of Tirupati Citizens Welfare Forum, an NGO working for the welfare and development of the people of the famed temple town.

Among the coveted recognitions that the multiple award winner has notched up at the state and national levels are big ones like ‘Indian Achievers Award for Hospitality and Tourism’ from IEDRA (Indian Economic Development and Research Association), New Delhi, on November 8, 2010; ‘Excellence in Tourism Award’ from NEHRDO (National Education & Human Resource Development Organisation), Mumbai, on February 25, 2010 and the ‘Best Hotel under 3-star category 2017’ by Ministry of Tourism, Government of India.

Over the years, he has been associated with Hotel Vikram, Tirupati, Hotel Bliss, Vikram Fuel Station, Vikram Petroleums, Srinivasa Theatre, Sairam Theatre, Vuddanda Solar Power Pvt. Ltd., District Tourism Council, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Tirupati Citizens Welfare Forum, Rotary Club and Chinmaya Mission. He has proved his mettle and leadership abilities in each of them.
